There are a multitude of service opportunities at OCC. We welcome individuals, families, and service groups available to serve on a Saturday morning. Take a minute to browse through volunteer areas below. When you find a ministry you would like to server in please submit a volunteer application by clicking the link below and someone will be in touch with you soon.
- Bus Drivers –Requires CDL-Class D license,
- Bus Monitors/Mentors – OCC begins the moment kids step on the bus and ends the moment they step off. For many, the ride to church is a good portion of their morning. Monitoring gives you a lot of extra time to love on and invest in the kids from your route, as well as meet their families and see where they live.
- Mechanics – Anyone skilled in bus mechanics? We welcome you! On the occasion that one of our buses needs some TLC, we’d love to be able to call in your expertise.
- BTS (Behind The Scenes) Team – Help set-up and break down tables, arrange chairs, prepare sanctuary for kids, place out sports equipment, etc.
- Breakfast Servers – Pour juice and pass out McDonalds breakfast to kids as they arrive
- Library Helpers – Help check books in and out to elementary kids in our OCC library
- Administration Team – Support every area of ministry by making phone calls, stuffing envelopes, organizing supplies or completing a number of administrative tasks
Elementary leaders serve kids ages 4 yrs. old – 5th grade. We need volunteers who have a passion for planting spiritual seeds in young hearts.
- Recreation Leaders – Organize and play games with kids during field time (i.e. football, soccer, basketball)
- Arts and Crafts Leaders & Helpers – Bring a craft for a class to work on, or help facilitate arts and crafts time with a small group leader.
- Kids Worship Leader – Create a desire for children to express their love for God in music and movement, and encourage children to mature in hearing and responding to the voice of God.
- Small Group Leader – teaching and shepherding elementary school students.
- Large Group Leader – Create a desire for children to love and serve the Lord and present Biblical truths to children in a fun and creative way.
Many of our students come from challenging backgrounds. OCC is a place where they are offered an alternative to the life they see day in and day out. If you have a desire to help the next generation become world changers, considering serving with Middle and High School students.

You can meet around a themed study or get a group of students together to teach a skill, paint, write, sing, dance. As a small group leader, you have the ability to develop close relationships with a few students that you can personally invest in.

“From prayer and encouragement to outreach, these teams serve people in need of love and support.”

- Project Partner – If you have a desire to experience hands-on ministry become a project partner! Professional skills are not required, just a willing heart to minister to kids and their families who need help with home repairs, moving, yard work or other project needs.
- Prayer Partner – Our God is a God who hears and answers prayers! If your heart is stirred by the needs of others and you have a burden to see the Lord move in the lives of the kids, Jesus may be calling you to serve as a Prayer Partner. In this ministry, you will be praying for the kids and the families of the kids who come to OCC on Saturdays.
