What is Orlando Children’s Church?
OCC is a Saturday morning program for underserved youth in the greater Orlando area.
Every week, kids from kindergarten through 12th grade come to OCC to have breakfast, spend time with friends and caring volunteers, and learn more about what it means to follow the way of Jesus. We believe that love and hope change lives.
What do Saturday mornings look like at OCC?
- Time with friends: We deeply value the importance of giving kids a chance to just be kids. The first hour of each Saturday morning is spent eating, playing, and spending time with friends and volunteers.
- Nourishment: Kids can expect a McDonald’s breakfast and fresh fruit when they arrive at OCC. They can also expect to be greeted by caring volunteers who are eager to invest in their lives.
- Words of hope: Our guiding verse is John 10:10, “The thief comes only to kill and steal and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.” We want every kid to experience the fullness of life Jesus invites us to.
