If this question has crossed your mind, the answer is most likely “Yes!”
If you love God and desire to see children and teenagers from across Central Florida experience the love of Jesus, there’s a place for you. We’re not looking for a certain personality type or skill set. You were created as you are for a reason—you can have an impact in ways others can’t. In Matthew 22:36-40, Jesus answers a question about the most important commandment:
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Can it really be that simple? Love God, love others.
As we all know, Jesus’ simple commands aren’t always so easy to live out, but the Holy Spirit teaches us as we go. If you desire to love others the way Christ loves you, he’ll show you how. Sometimes we just need to take a step of faith and watch him work!
